Wellness Allied Inc. is founded by a group of people who are enthusiastic about Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

We hope that through wellness allied, we can merge eastern and western medicine to provide better health care to the general population.

We treat patients for various complaints: Stress, Pain, Sinusitis, Digestive Disorders, Menstrual Cramps, Migraine, Cold and Flu, Arthritis etc. The director, Wendy (Weihui), got Master in Acupuncture and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University. She also had her PhD in biomedical engineering from Tulane University. Then, she worked as research fellow in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, both are teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. While doing clinic, she keeps doing research on acupuncture. She devotes herself to integrate west and east medicine to serve people better

"Acupuncture Herbs and Beyond" uses electronic health record system and provide patient's portal for clients. With that, patients can log their health condition everyday, and send medical notes to the clinic for advice. We always make our best efforts. If we can let patients see results after the very first treatment, we won't wait for the second treatment.

Wendy (Weihui) Li is the licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in MA. She got her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from New England School of Acupuncture in Newton, MA, the earliest acupuncture school in the US.

Before the study of acupuncture, Wendy got her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China. She further pursued her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in biomedical engineering from Tulane University. Then, she worked as postdoc research fellow in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and later on in Massachusetts General Hospital, both are teaching hospital of Harvard University.

Wendy's interest in acupuncture is the blend of her deep understanding of Chinese Philosophy and her science background. She believes that while western medicine has been responsible for tremendous success in health care, there are limits in providing treatments for more chronic conditions. Acupuncture, having been caring Chinese for thousands of years, demonstrates amazing effectiveness for a number of clinical conditions. However, the mechanisms why acupuncture works haven't been thoroughly studied. While running a clinic, she keeps doing research on acupuncture with modern science.

Dr. Nelson Patz's compassion and respect for all life are virtues he's exhibited since childhood. My mother and teacher would let me bring home frogs, tadpoles and salamanders I'd collected," he says. "My greatest joy was learning to care for them and watch them thrive." Today, as a board certified acupuncturist, Dr. Patz continues to demonstrate that same enthusiasm and concern for his patients' well-being. "I love interacting with my patients," he adds. "I help them learn to become their own best caregiver and harness the power they have to affect their health through better lifestyle choices."

Fan Yang, MAOM, Lic. Ac, Dipl.O.M, is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Massachusetts, who earned her Master's Degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the renowned New England School of Acupuncture, the nation's oldest school of Oriental Medicine. She is Nationally Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Prior to this, Fan graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic of Singapore with a Diploma in Nursing, and had been practicing as a nurse for years. Grown up in a traditional Chinese family with her father as an acupuncturist and herbalist, Fan routinely saw changes that her western medical training could not explain. She decided to study Traditional Chinese Medicine: The oldest body of knowledge that recognizes energy in the human body and its relationship to health. She found out that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) works extremely well with body to create health benefits. Her experience includes working with individuals with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical problems such as pain, asthma, allergies, fibromyalgia, arthritis, autoimmune diseases, IBS, anxiety/depression, OB-GYN issues. Fan combines acupuncture with other classic techniques (such as Tuina, Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, Electroacupuncture, blood letting, etc) to treat patients, and she likes to use an integrative approach when working with each patient to optimize recovery, overall health and general well-being.
